Message Board privacy policy:

The only time we will collect information from you is if you sign up for Janis Ian's Message Center. In order to register, you must supply a valid email address. This address is used for verification purposes only. You have the option to hide this email address from public viewing by using the "Edit Profile" menu option in the Message Board area. Children under the age of 13 must obtain consent from a parent or guardian, which consent must be sent to us before your registration takes effect.

Shopify privacy & merchandise sales:

We sell our online merchandise through Shopify. Shopify's privacy policy is different from ours; for more information, please visit Shopify. If you purchase merchandise through this website, Shopify may collect information about your purchase. We retain hard-copy information about your order for 6 months in a secure setting, after which the information is destroyed. We retain this information only to ensure accuracy in shipping, and to be able to follow-up on any problems with your order. Shopify policy states clearly that children under 13 years of age must get the consent of a parent or guardian, and create a "family account".
